That's exactly the vibe you get when stepping into Jejudo Kkochi, a delightful barbecue haven located at 452 Broad Ave in Palisades Park, NJ. For anyone familiar with the cozy yet bustling streets of this area, the restaurant stands out as a beacon for those craving authentic barbecue flavors.

What’s the secret to their magnetic charm? Some say it's the sizzle of excitement that the grill brings, others might argue it's the infusion of rich, savory seasonings that dance around the taste buds. The menu at Jejudo Kkochi is an adventurous journey all its own. Dabbling in skewered delicacies, there's an array of tastes to conquer each time one visits. From the vibrant yangnyeom chicken skewers to the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth beef options, each dish seems crafted with a love for Korean culinary traditions that’s hard to find.

However, it’s not just about the grill. Linger a while over the side dishes, which complement the robust flavors of the mains. The pickled veggies, spicy potatoes, and, of course, kimchi, provide more than just a secondary note—they're stars in their own right. I came here for dinner with my husband and had an absolutely amazing experience at Jejudo Kkochi on Broad Avenue. We ordered the lamb skewers, pig skin, and stir-fried squid -- all of which were delicious. The lamb skewers were tender and had a great crisp to them, and the stir-fried squid was hands-down my favorite dish of the night. The batter was so light yet crispy. I also really enjoyed the cucumber scallion salad served as a side -- super refreshing and pair well with the meat. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and welcoming. The owner is friendly, and the overall vibe is very relaxed. They also serve beer and soju, which is a nice touch. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the seasoning on the skewers -- I felt it could have used a bit more flavor. Also, while the electric grilling machine is convenient, it doesn't quite deliver that smoky taste you'd get from charcoal. That said, everything we tried was delicious, and I would definitely come back. Highly recommended for a flavorful and satisfying meal!

Delicious stick spot in Palisades Park. We had beef and lamb sticks with much of dishes. Everything tastes amazing and couple dishes were surprisingly good. Make sure to try cucumber salad and cold noodles.

The food , quantity, and service were good. Little slow because staff were less. But overall, satisfied.
